Another new appointment for Barclay Crop Protection

Barclay Crop Protection, the Europe-wide post-patent crop protection specialist, has appointed Bryan Pickles to the newly-created role of technical sales executive.

Mr Pickles' appointment signals Barclay's continuing intention to support and grow its UK product distribution, augmenting the company's current commercial and technical service provision.

"Barclay is one of the new breed of crop protection companies, focused on providing farmers with the right combination of quality and value for money by developing strong and highly relevant post-patent product solutions," says Mr Pickles.

"It has significant and exciting ambitions and I'm relishing the prospect of joining the team, developing and building relationships with key accounts in the UK's agronomy sector," he says.

Mr Pickles previously ran an agronomy consultancy and brokerage in North Yorkshire, and has twenty years' experience of the distribution trade.
