The mineral is kiln fired in a computer controlled process changing into a porous ceramic particle that has excellent stability; It promotes the movement of surface water through the soil profile reducing water logging and problems such as turf diseases.

Black layer is a common problem in poorly aerated and/or waterlogged soils and occurs where anaerobic soil conditions prevail.

By introducing soil conditioners in such situations, aerobic conditions are restored and black layer eliminated.
